The victory of the Falam township is not the success of the Chin Brotherhood Group, but the success of the entire Chin Nation, says CNO/CNDF

The victory of the Falam township was not the success of the Chin Brotherhood Group alone, but the success of the entire Chin nation, as well as the revolutionary success of the entire Myanmar, said Salai Timmy Htut, spokesperson for the Falam Township-based Chin National Organization (CNO/CNDF), a member of the Chin Brotherhood, in an interview with Chin World Media.

“There were differences in Chin State, but the common enemy of all is the SAC. The victory over the SAC is not the victory of our CNO / CNDF Chin Brotherhood, but the victory of all Chin people. As long as the SAC exists in Falam, there is the SAC in Chin State. Similarly, as long as the SAC is still in Hakha, Chin State has not been liberated. In the same way, the victory in Falam is the victory of every Chin people. The victory of every Chin people is the victory of the entire revolution in Burma,” said Salai Timmy Htut ,spokesperson of the CNO / CNDF.

Falam town was attacked by the Chin Brotherhood and its allies on November 9, 2024, and five months later, on April 9, 2025, the Chin Brotherhood (CB) announced that the entire Falam township had been declared a military council-free area.

The 5-month-long operation to retake Falam town resulted in the deaths of nearly 90 soldiers from the Chin Brotherhood Group and allied forces, including 40 soldiers from the local organization CNO/CNDF, including two nurses.

The 5-month-long operation to retake Falam town resulted in the injury of about 500 soldiers from the Chin Brotherhood and allied forces, and around 30 people losing limbs.
