The CDF – Matupi, a Chin brotherhood group, announced on April 10 that 22 comrades have been killed and 10 have lost limbs in the 4 years of the revolution.
The CDF-Matupi Brigade-1 General Meeting held on April 2-3, 2025, changed the name of the Chinland Defense Force -Matupi Brigade (1) to the Chin Defense Force -Matupi, representing the two Chin states and the Chin people, and also changed the structure of the battalion from the brigade-led system to a new structure with a Chief of Staff, Military Region Commander, Strategic Commander, and Battalion Commander.
During the 4 years of the CDF-Matupi revolution, it participated in many revolutionary battles in the Chin region and, together with the Chin Brotherhood and its allies, captured Matupi district on June 29, 2024.
It was also announced that the CDF-Matupi will continue to fight for the overthrow of the military dictatorship and the liberation of the people, and will continue to participate in the reconstruction of Matupi, the reconstruction of Chin State, and the construction of the Union.
The Chin Brotherhood (CB) and its allied forces, including the CDF-Matupi, captured Matupi on June 29, 2024, and the CDF-Matupi is currently leading the administration of Matupi.
