The CDF – Hakha, a Chin armed resistance group based in Hakha Township, issued a statement today, April 23, calling on youth to join the CDF – Hakha to take over the capital of Chin State.
Parents are also urged to encourage their children to participate in the struggle to take over Hakha and to remember that the liberation of the country and the people is everyone’s responsibility, CDF – Hakha said.
Youth can join the CDF – Hakha as full-time members, or as reserve members if they cannot join full-time, CDF – Hakha said.
In Chin State, only the capital Hakha, Thantlang and Tedim are under the control of the military council, while the rest are under the control of Kanpetlet, Mindat, Matupi, Falam, Kyindwe, Makwi Eain Nu, Rikhaw Dar, Surkhua, Tonzang, Hnaring, Lai Lengpi, and Rezua towns are controlled by Chin armed resistance groups, while Paletwa township is controlled by the Arakan Army (AA).
