A Hakha resident said, “This year, there have been many applications for tenders. They come from all over the country for road management, natural resources, rural areas, municipal services, irrigation, etc. I know that many rural residents have also applied for road repairs.”
Every year, the new budget starts in April, and advertisements are published in newspapers in April and May, and tenders begin in June.
In the new budget for Chin State for 2025, a significant amount of budget has been allocated for Khaikam Town in Tedim Township, and Tedim Township, Many people are coming from Kalay and other places.
Chin State, which has 9 townships, has most of the townships under the control of Chin armed rebel groups, while the military council still controls the two towns of Hakha and Tedim.
