The first regular central meeting of the third Mara Territory Administrative Council (MTC/MDF) of the term of office has approved the decision to conscript all Mara people under the age of (45), with the exception of those under the age of (45).
The Mara Territory Administrative Council (MTC/MDF) held its first regular central meeting on June (5) and held its first regular central meeting on May (30) to June (1) in an area under the control of the MTC/MDF. The meeting was attended by a total of (65) people, including local and international Central Committee members, CDM groups, Executive Management Committee members, Central Judges, representatives of the Defense Forces, Central Council members, special invitees from civil society and observers.
The central council meeting discussed and decided on (20) proposals related to defense, health, education, and general administration, including the immediate control of all Mara territories. In addition, the Central Council meeting also administered the oath of office to the members of the Council, approved the appointment of the Chief of Staff, Deputy Chief of Staff, and Associate Justices, and awarded letters of commendation to three (3) members of the Mara Defense Force who showed courage and obedience during the battle, and three (3) international Maras who actively participated in the revolution and were worthy of being role models, the statement said.
The Central Council meeting discussed three (3) draft laws in accordance with the Mara Agreement, and approved the Finance Act and the Tax Act. It was also reported that the Central Committee meeting delegated authority to the Executive Committee to discuss and implement the remaining Lalinpi Township Administration Act.
The Mara People’s Conference agreed that the Mara Regional Administrative Council will continue to strive to achieve federal democracy, overthrow the military dictatorship, and achieve a fully secure political system for the entire Mara people.
