The CDF-Asho attacked the military council troops that were on their way to secure the Nat Lake military base, killing 9 of them.

The Chin Defense Forces – Asho (CDF-Asho) announced today, May 1, that the military council troops that were on their way to secure the road from the military council troops in Pazhi village, Ngaphe Township, Magway Division, were attacked on April 30, killing 9 and injuring others.

The CDF-Asho attacked the soldiers of the 13th Infantry Battalion, stationed at the monastery in Pazhi village, Ngaphe Township, which is the outpost of the air defense force, when they came out to secure the road. During the attack, 9 members of the military council were killed on the spot and another was injured. It was also reported that 9 MA-type small arms and ammunition were also seized.

CDF-Asho has reported that around 130 troops from the 99th and 2nd /10/13/14 Battalions of Protective equipment manufacturing plant are stationed at the Pazhi Monastery in Ngaphe Township, and that they are also taking out and selling public property from civilian homes.
