The CDF-Asho announced on May 19 that it will not threaten, disrupt, detain, or interfere with school affairs in areas bordering the Chin Defense Forces-Asho (CDF-Asho) military operations, and will take action against anyone who does so.
CDF-Asho said that basic schools will begin opening for the 2025-2026 basic education year, and that there is a need for school-age children to receive education.
Therefore, basic education teachers serving in basic education schools in the mountainous and flat villages of Ngaphe Township, Magway Region, which border the Chin Defense Forces-Asho (CDF-Asho) military operations, It is informed that it will not harass, arrest, or detain teachers or interfere in education and school affairs, and that it will take disciplinary action against those who do so.
The Chin Defense Force – Ashwin also appealed to education personnel to respect the three (3) principles of dedication, passion, and sacrifice and provide free education to school-age children.
