The Chinland Defense Force – Kalay Kabaw Gangaw (CDF-KKG) announced today, April 15, that it will soon continue attacks on the remaining military council bases between Kalay and Gangaw, as well as the villages of Pyu Saw Htei .
The CDF-KKG Major Operation was launched in February 2025 with the start of group training in 2024. The military council bases between Kalay and Gangaw, such as Kamparni Camp, Myintaw, Aung Tharyar (East, West), and Kyndhar villages of Pyu Saw Htei and Soe Moe, were successfully attacked and captured within 2 months by the grace of God. The entire CDF-KKG Major Operation was conducted by the Chin National Army (CNA).
After capturing the strongest and most powerful military council base camp between Kalay and Gangaung on February 12, the military council base camp in Kaengtaw and Aungthayar village (west) in southern Kalay was attacked and captured before February 15. The allied forces in the battle to capture Kaengtaw included CNA, CDF-Hakha, CDF-Thantlang, CDF CDM – Siyin, ABSDF, Yaw Region Liberation Front, CDF – Senthang, Naga Nyinaung, etc. In the attack and capture of the military council base camps in Kaengtaw and Aungthayar (east and west), PDF Vakok and RKDF also participated in clearing, controlling, and defending the area.
The military council conducted a total of (19) offensives, including the battles in Kamparni, Myintaw, and Aung Tharyar, and carried out more than (1,000) aerial bombings of villages where there was no fighting, using jet fighters and Y12s and Y8s. During the airstrikes, more than (60) public hospitals, schools, religious buildings, and public houses were damaged, and around (20,000) people from more than (12) villages were displaced, and more than half of them are still displaced. The CDF-KKG also announced that at least (15) innocent people were killed and a total of (40) people were injured in the airstrikes.
The martyred comrades of the CDF-KKG and various allied organizations who sacrificed their lives during the CDF-KKG Major Operation, the comrades who lost their limbs, We honor and remember the wounded comrades and express our respect and pride for the courage, diligence, and hard work of our comrades who fought with all their might until victory was achieved.
The CDF-KKG announced that it will continue to fight against the military council forces in Chin State, Sagaing Region, and Magway Region, where it is based, in cooperation with partner revolutionary organizations.
